Dear friends and music lovers,
Pleased to let you know about this concert.
A bit of history.
On November 28th, 2009, I performed this concert, The Homo sapiens Dream / El Sueño Homo sapiens, at The Grove Hall, London, to launch then, my new CD, released with this title track by my record label MATIZ. The concert was well attended and I'm still very grateful for your great support and complimentary reaction to this poem without words. I have noticed on different occasions wherever I've played this piece, how it's been appreciated by audiences and I thought it's time to perform this concert again. It will be my pleasure and it would be great if you can make it!
With my best wishes to all

The Homo sapiens Dream brings Latin American music and poetry to a new
dimension. It is a universal musical interpretation, poetical-progressive, of human evolution: our dedication, routine,
commitment and consistency, our desire to understand the past and future of our own existence and of the
universe. Our fascination with speed, with competition, with discovery.

"A wonderful introduction into a completely different kind of harp music, beautifully expressed. Thank you"
Words from an appreciative member of the audience the first time Ricardo Curbelo performed at Lopping Hall in November 2016:
This innovative musician, singer, composer and poet is delighted to return and present another vibrant and varied evening of new and traditional Latin American music on harp, cuatro, maracas and vocals. Energetic and jazzy rhythms will contrast with romantic songs and enchanting melodies. The Homo sapiens Dream, (El Sueño Homo sapiens), name of the concert and title track of Ricardo's third album, has been much praised by audiences and led to Ricardo being named "The perfect act for the day" at the Natural History Museum in June 2010. It is one of his many spellbinding compositions.
"Very atmospheric, mesmerising, great range of emotions evoked - thank you! The Homo sapiens piece reminded me (in places!) of Pink Floyd."
( Reeth Memorial Hall, August 2016)
"Excellent concert, mesmerising performance."
(Arran Music Society, May 2015)
"Ricardo, mil gracias por este hermoso recital, eres un genio de la musica y compositor extraordinario."
(Anglo - Colombian Society, London, May 2014)
"I have never heard the harp played like this before and I loved it!"
(Haslemere Educational Museum, Surrey, March 2018)
"This was a delightful sojourn into a different place. Such mastery and melody."
( St Andrew's Church, Leytonstone, November 2019)
