Composer- Performer and Poet El Cóndor,  Ricardo García-Curbelo has been playing music, composing and writing poetry and songs from an early age. His skilful  representations, nationally as internationally, of Latin American music and poetry culture on a variety of stages - radio & TV, educational institutions, festivals, concerts and charity performances, to name but a few - made him  known for his passionate, gifted way of communicating with the public and also honoured on many occasions. In the UK he has performed several solo concerts and has often shared the stage with different accomplished soloists.

During 2010 -2011 Ricardo has given many performances; including  the Fishguard International Festival, O'Carolan Harp Festival in Ireland, the Welsh National Eisteddfod, Ebbw Vale, the Exhibition Road Festival in London, the Woodford Festival in London, St Catherine's Church concert in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, Concert for Japan in London.

Ricardo is the composer of The Homo sapiens Dream, a universal musical poem that brings today’s Latin American music and poetry to a new dimension.  This dramatic poetical progressive interpretation of human evolution has been much acclaimed by audiences. The Homo sapiens Dream is one of his more recently recorded CDs.

Ricardo is also composer of the poetical song The Orinoco Dolphin and author of poems such as The Naked Truth and The Discovered Truth, both first prize winners of International poetry competitions in 1977 and 1978 at San Martin International Festival in South America. He also wrote  Colombia for You, one of the most loved poems of the country (...)

Compositor-Interprete y Poeta El Cóndor, Ricardo García-Curbelo ha sido músico, compositor como poeta desde muy temprano en su vida. Sus habilidades de artista embajador de la cultura poética  y musical Latinoamericana, en una amplia variedad de escenarios - radio y televisión, institutos de educación, festivales, conciertos y actuaciones de caridad - le haría ser reconocido por su talento y manera de trasmitir su mensaje al publico. En el Reno Unido Ricardo ha hecho un gran numero de conciertos como solista y ha compartido escenarios con diferentes solistas de talento.

 

Ricardo es el compositor de El Sueño Homo sapiens ; obra musical poética que representa a la música y a la poesía Latinoamericana con una nueva dimensión. Esta dramática interpretación poética-progresiva de la evolución humana, -con  su abstracto enfoque a nuestra dedicación consistencia y rutina; nuestra inquietud por llegar a entender tanto el pasado como el futuro de nuestra propia existencia y del universo. Nuestra fascinación con la velocidad, con la competencia y el descubrimiento -ha causado gran sensación en las audiencias. El Sueño Homo sapiens es su mas reciente álbum en CD.

Ricardo es además el compositor de la canción poética El Delfín del Orinoco; autor de los poemas: La Verdad Desnuda y La Verdad Descubierta, juntos poemas ganadores de primeros premios del Festival Internacional de

San Martín 1977, 1978; de El que Manda es el Billete  y de Colombia para Ti, uno de los poemas mas queridos del país(...)
