The Latin American harp evolved from the European early harp based in Spain It was taken to the new continent by the Jesuits as a church instrument. Its colourful dynamism which has been captivating audiences, started as soon as it was redesigned and adapted by different countries as a leading instrument of their musical cultures . Latin American harps are well known around the world by their great sound. The different music textures at a professional level, make it very versatile and powerful on stage. I play a new design of Latin American harp, the Modelo Corvado, probably the biggest of its kind.
